CRDF Delegation visits the Office of Vice President for Research PDF Print E-mail

On a follow-up mission, a 2-member delegation from the US. Civilian Research & Development Foundation (CRDF) visited the Office of the Vice President for Research, May 31, 2009 at 10 am.,   where they attended a meeting with the Vice President for Research, Prof. Fahed Al Thakeb and his assistants, Dr. Fahd Al-Mulla,  Prof. Haithem Lababidi, and Prof. Nejib Smaoui.  The meeting  centered on  exploring potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions, especially in the context of Science & Technology policy and R & D infrastructure, where CRDF could effectively contribute its expertise  and  experience. 

 

The visiting delegates included Dr. Albert Beckford Jones, Senior Advisor to the President & Chief Executive Officer, CRDF,  and David Lindeman, Head of  the Development & External Relations Department. The visit  provided congenial grounds for the sharing of views concerning research matters,  and to carry forward the process of cooperation in the sphere of  research and development activities.
